If you’re a seasoned professional in the antiques industry, our program is looking for someone like you to impart your wisdom on to our antiques young guns. Most of us have had a “go-to” person for questions, concerns and advice when it comes to our careers. Whether it was a family member, friend or trusted colleague, it’s critical to have someone to help us along the way as we establish our roles in any industry.
To ensure the antiques industry continues to thrive for many years to come, we need to foster the next generation of antiques professionals, and mentorship is the answer.
If you have an interest in becoming a mentor, please complete the form below and we will contact you soon.
Details on the Mentorship Program
- The mentor will provide outreach, assistance and guidance to mentoree at least 4-6 times a year. This can include, but is not limited to, email, phone and in-person (if located in the same city) communication.
- A 50 word bio of the mentor and their company logo will be listed on the Antiques Young Guns U.S.A. website during the time they serve as mentor.
- The mentor will be asked to submit one paragraph on their experience with their mentoree at the end of the year.
- Optional: If the mentoree can attend a show where their mentor is exhibiting, the mentor will provide on-site guidance in their booth. For a U.S. Antique Shows event, an additional helper badge will be provided.
