David Arenson is the owner of Atomic Flat, an antique and vintage design shop based in northeastern Connecticut. He has a passion for modernism in all forms, from Art Deco to 1980’s Post Modernism and his inventory is clearly reflective of that range. Whether it’s a piece of early electric lighting or an haute fiberglass creation, he loves all things reflective of progress and modern design.
David grew up as a child in the sunny suburbs of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and moved to New England after attending college in Miami for electrical engineering. After pursuing a short career in internet marketing, he turned his sights towards vintage and antique furnishings and has been going full steam for the past decade.
His appointment only showroom and workshop are located in an early 20th century dairy barn on the pastoral hobby farm that he shares with his partner, Erin, young son Henry Samuel and the many Icelandic sheep that call the property home.
