U.S. Antique Shows has formed a strategic alliance with Antiques Young Guns U.K. to bring the incredibly successful program to the United States. The new program, Antiques Young Guns U.S.A., will promote growth, education and exposure to those in the trade, 39 years old or younger, to a national audience of antiques enthusiasts.
Antiques Young Guns U.K. was founded by noted antique experts Gail McLeod of Antiques News & Fairs, George Johnson of Lady Kentmores, and TV presenter and author Mark Hill in 2011 to foster a new, younger audience’s interest in antiques. It has garnered much success in Europe and, to date, the program has attracted hundreds of young professionals. In March 2015, U.S. Antique Shows worked collaboratively with the U.K. group to bring the incredibly successful program stateside. Antiques Young Guns U.S.A. was born to follow the same principles as its U.K. counterpart, promoting growth, education and exposure to those in the antiques, art and design trade, 39 years old or younger.
Among the great aspects of the Antiques Young Guns program is its member benefits. This includes an online profile and merchandise gallery on the program’s website, several buying, selling and networking events throughout the year, free appraisal services, access to discounted educational courses, complimentary admission to antique shows across the country, recognition in numerous trade and national publications and much more.
